Women's Heart Program

At Affinity Health System, we believe in paying attention to women’s heart health.

Many people guess, incorrectly, that breast cancer is the leading cause of death among women. In fact, heart disease and stroke kill one in two women, compared with one in 27 who dies of breast cancer.

Early diagnosis of cardiovascular disease saves lives, but many women think of heart disease as a “man’s problem.” Some don’t realize that more women than men die or are disabled from heart attack, so they ignore important early indicators.

Knowledge is the Best Weapon

At Affinity Health System, we believe in paying attention to women’s heart health. The FREE Affinity Women's Heart Program helps women understand their risk of heart disease and change their lifestyles to prevent it.

In just one hour, women can learn whether they are at risk for heart disease and what to do about it. Knowledge is the best weapon against this life-threatening disease.
