Kids' Keys to Safety
This program is geared toward children ages 9-12 who may come home to an empty house after school or begin staying home alone for short periods of time. It provides information to children and parents on how to keep the child safe while he/she is home alone. Topics such as knowing when a child is ready to be left home alone, home safety, and privileges and responsibilities are discussed so the parent and child feel prepared and comfortable when the child is home alone.
