St. Elizabeth Hospital Community Foundation Funds
Where the Need Is Greatest
This fund allows the foundation the most flexibility in supporting programs, capital needs and equipment in any department throughout Affinity’s northern region (St. Elizabeth Hospital, Calumet Medical Center and all northern region Affinity Medical Group clinics).
St. Elizabeth Hospital Cancer Fund
Grants from this fund are directed to oncology and radiology, along with general cancer support services.
Heart & Lung Fund
Cardiac and pulmonary disease-related needs are funded through the Heart & Lung Center fund.
Women & Families Fund
Gifts to this fund support Pediatrics, the Neonatal Intensive Care unit, the Breast Center, and any programs or equipment needs related to caring for women and children.
Calumet Medical Center Fund
This fund supports community outreach programs, equipment purchases, and patient programs for Calumet Medical Center.
Needs of the Poor and Underserved
This fund supports efforts that underscore the foundation's mission to "live out the healing ministry of Christ with a special emphasis on those in need." From underwriting the costs of basic patient care and prescription medicine to transportation when the patient has nowhere else to turn, these funds go to the neediest among us.
